Ivan Simanovsky is a Senior Associate at COBALT Belarus. He has over 8 years of experience in the sphere of intellectual property. Prior to joining COBALT, Ivan Simanovsky has worked for the National Center of Intellectual Property.
In his practice, Ivan Simanovsky has been acting as the coordinator in the international cooperation for the development of national intellectual property systems of countries in transition. He has participated in the negotiations for the preparation of Free Trade Agreements. Ivan Simanovsky has also advised both domestic and foreign clients on various matters of agreements on transfer of rights to intellectual property objects, as well as on economic aspects of intellectual property.
Ivan Simanovsky has been a regular participant in the meetings of the key decision-making bodies of the World Intellectual Property Organization (Geneva). He has also acted twice as a member of the working group of experts on intellectual property within the Projects “Innovation Performance Review of Belarus” under United Nations Economic Commission for Europe.
