Law Firm COBALT is organising an annual conference Baltic M&A Outlook 2019: new directions & perspectives which will be held on 14 March. The conference will provide a detailed overview of mergers and acquisitions in the Baltics and offer an opportunity to discuss the prospects of the M&A deals market. We will analyse tendencies such as the increased number of financial investors (including such major investors newly entering the region as Blackstone, Novalpina, Kartesia, IK Investments, Dasos); the realised PE investments; the increasing buoyancy of transactions in separate sectors.
The EBRD (The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development) representative will overview the Baltic M&A market in the context of Eastern-Central European region, the most active sectors.
This year we are planning two panel discussions.
The representatives of investors attending the first panel discussion will focus on the developments that are of key importance to different types of investors (financial, strategic) in the regional deal market.
The second panel discussion will feature Lithuanian investment bankers sharing their insights on recent acquisitions they dealt with, also on the market trends and the role of investment advisors assisting inaccomplishing transactions.
