COBALT advised AB Linas agro group on the acquisition of the remaining shareholding in UAB Dotnuvos projektai

COBALT advised an international agricultural company AB Linas Agro Group, controlling 50 per cent of shares in UAB Dotnuvos projektai, on the acquisition of the remaining shareholding in the company. The transaction is subject to approval from the Competition Council. AB Linas Agro Group plans to spend EUR 9.3 million on the acquisition of the shareholding.

Last year the turnover of UAB Dotnuvos projektai, operating two subsidiaries in Latvia and Estonia and four branches in Lithuania, reached EUR 56 million, and earnings before tax and amortisation (EBITDA) amounted to EUR 4.5 million. The company is engaged in the principal business of wholesale and retail trade of new and used agricultural equipment and spare parts, seed production, processing and distribution, as well as the design and installation of seed cleaning, drying and warehousing facilities.
