COBALT Bolsters Its Real Estate, Infrastructure and Energy Law Practice

COBALT has expanded and bolstered its real estate, infrastructure and energy capability in Lithuania with the addition to its team of attorney-at-law Artūras Kojala and energy law professional Ignas Jurkynas from 1 January 2017.

COBALT is delighted to announce the arrival of two new members to its Real Estate and Infrastructure Practice Group. Artūras Kojala has joined the firm to enhance real estate development, lease and other real estate services at COBALT. Ignas Jurkynas will help to reinforce the firm’s Lithuanian energy law practice.

Mr Kojala brings over 12 years of experience in the areas of real estate, logistics, business development and waste management matters. Prior to joining COBALT, he practised at one of the leading law firms in the Baltics, advising major local and international companies. Mr Kojala also spent a number of years working for MAXIMA LT, Lithuanian retail market leader.

Mr Kojala holds a Master’s degree in Law from Mykolas Romeris University. Currently he is studying at European University Business School to earn a Master’s degree in Management.

Ignas Jurkynas will focus his practice solely on energy law and will assist clients with energy law matters. Before coming on board at COBALT, Ignas worked for energy sector companies – Lithuanian energy company group Lietuvos energija, and post-merger of AB LESTO and AB Lietuvos dujos he headed the Legal Department at AB Energijos skirstymo operatorius (ESO).

Mr Jurkynas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Mykolas Romeris University and a Master’s degree in Law from Vilnius University Faculty of Law. He is currently improving his management and Nordic leadership skills at ISM University of Management and Economics and studying for a Master’s degree in executive studies.
