COBALT represented banks syndicate in financing the acquisition of Nordic Cinema Group

COBALT represented banks syndicate led by Danske Bank A/S in financing the acquisition of majority stake in Nordic Cinema Group (NCG) by Bridgepoint, European private equity group, from Ratos AB and Bonnier Holding.

NCG is Nordic region’s largest cinema group with 66 wholly owned movie theatres with 444 screens and approximately 64,000 seats in 6 countries – Sweden, Finland, Norway, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. NCG is also co-owner of an additional 48 movie theatres.

COBALT assisted the client in drafting the financing and security documents, represented banks syndicate led by Danske Bank A/S in the negotiation process and provided other legal support.
