After acquiring a 60% stake of the Latvia-incorporated and headquartered company Ask.fm, Dutch company IAC Search Europe B.V., part of U.S. media concern IAC, became the majority shareholder of Ask.fm. Alongside changes in the composition of the company’s shareholders, technology investment fund Rubylight retained its minority shareholding in Ask.fm. The interests of the minority shareholder in the deal were represented by COBALT, which had previously advised the company on acquisition of Ask.fm shares.
