Evening ITea: 'How to protect intellectual property rights correctly'

Law firm COBALT invites you to the first event of Evening ITea - series of seminars and discussions on various legal issues arising in the field of IT.

The topic of the first event is “How to register intellectual property rights and build contractual relations with foreign acquirers correctly.”

Form of conducting the event: mini-presentations of 15-20 min + discussion.

At the event, the key topics for discussion will be the issues of registration of intellectual property rights (software, trademarks, practicability of patenting), as well as the main aspects that shall be taken into account when signing contracts with foreign acquirers.


Tsimafei Savitski, Associate at COBALT Belarus, lecturer of the course “Intellectual Property Management” (BSU, SBMT). Mr. Savitski holds the LL.M. degree in Intellectual Property & Information Technology Law (The John Marshall Law School, USA, and Stockholm University, Sweden).

Olga Polozova, Senior Associate at COBALT Belarus, seasoned practitioner in the field of technology transfer. Ms. Polozova holds the LL.M. degree in International Business Law (Central European University, Hungary) and has more than 10 years of practical experience.

Anna Kovganko, Legal Counsel at Qulix Systems. Ms. Kovganko has more than 10 years of practical experience including legal support of activities in the field of IT.

The event will be useful for entrepreneurs, freelancers, IT startups.
