Ingrīda Kariņa-Bērziņa is Partner at COBALT Latvia office and heads IP & IT practice group. She has deep and broad expertise in intellectual property and related areas. A native of Wilmington, Delaware, she is dual licensed to practice law in the United States (Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and before the USPTO) and Latvia. She is also a licensed Latvian and European Trademark and Design Attorney. She teaches at the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, at the Riga Graduate School of Law, and is a member of expert groups on intellectual property. She counsels a Latvian, Baltic and global clientele on trademarks, design rights, copyright, patents, telecoms, United States contracts, and IP strategy, pharmaceutical and life sciences and represents clients in dispute resolution.
