COBALT is recognised as No. 1 Baltic law firm in the CEE region by the number of deals advised in H1 2019, according to M&A reviews presented by the international business news agency Mergermarket.
In the Mergermarket league table, COBALT is a leader among Baltic law firms in the CEE region and takes the seventh place among all region's law firms. According to the agency, during the period from January to June 2019 COBALT in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia advised on a total of 9 deals.
COBALT is recognised as the leading Baltic law firm in the Eastern Europe and Nordic regions by volume of transactions advised in H1 2019, according to M&A reviews presented by international business news agency Bloomberg. In total, COBALT worked on 12 qualifying transactions valued USD 9 million.
During the first half of 2019, COBALT advised London-based Vink Group, a Europe’s largest semi-finished plastics distributor, on acquiring three Baltic companies, OÜ Proplastik, SIA Proplastik and UAB Proplastik. What is more, COBALT advised the Norwegian company Reitan Convenience AS in its acquisition of 100% of shares in the coffee shop chain Caffeine from BaltCap and the founders of the company "Four Rooms". Also, COBALT advised the private equity fund BaltCap on the transaction resulting in the sale of the Baltic-based Fitek Holding to the Benelux’s company UnifiedPost Group.
