COBALT advised UAB Eika Asset Management and Groa Capital, UAB in obtaining management company licences

COBALT advised UAB Eika Asset Management, a company established by one of Lithuania’s largest real estate development and construction company group Eika, andGroa Capital, UAB in obtaining licences of management companies of collective investment undertakings for informed investors from the Bank of Lithuania.

COBALT team advised Groa Capital, UAB and UAB Eika Asset Management on all issues related to obtaining the licences, drafted required documents and represented the companies in the Bank of Lithuania. The team was led by Associate Monika Kriūnaitė.

The licences of a management company were issued to Groa Capital, UAB in May and to UAB Eika Asset Management – in July earlier this year. UAB Eika Asset Management intends to prioritize investment in residential and commercial projects as well as commercial buildings, ensuring a stable rental income.

The licences authorise both companies to manage collective investment undertakings for informed investors that operate under the Law on Collective Investment Undertakings for Informed Investors.
