About
Liis Leedo is an Associate at COBALT Estonia, who assists senior associates in their everyday work. Liis’s practice mainly focuses on data protection and information technology matters. Furthermore, she also has an extensive knowledge in the fields of advertising, consumer protection and cybersecurity.
Liis’s experience includes advising clients on issues such as the implementation of data protection audit projects and related advice (including drafting data processing agreements, privacy notices, use of cookies, international data transfers), profiling and direct marketing matters and handling data breaches, including incident response and breach management and notifications to data protection authorities.
Liis has completed a minor degree in the information technology program at Aalto University School of Business, specialising in new digital business opportunities and the information ecosystem.
Before joining COBALT, Liis gained valuable experience in DG CONNECT at European Commission working on the implementation of Electronic Communications Code and completed several legal internships.
