The competition enforcement system in Estonia is about to change dramatically as Estonia transposes the ECN directive. This is a good time to reflect, and draw some conclusions on the effects of the current enforcement system on a few competition cases. This article does not aim to provide a comprehensive overview of the competition enforcement system in Estonia. The author brings forward some interesting highlights of competition case law and, since these cases cannot be taken in isolation from the Estonian enforcement system, the general features of the enforcement system are summarised briefly.
