Defood OÜ acquires UAB “Delano” from UAB “Vilniaus prekyba”

Estonian company Defood OÜ has acquired 100% of shares of UAB “Delano” from UAB “Vilniaus prekyba.” UAB “Delano” operates the well-known restaurant chains “Delano” and “Can Can Pizza”. The transaction price is confidential.

Defood OÜ is owned by the Estonian investment company OÜ Mirrow Institute which additionally owns 45 restaurants in Estonia and Latvia.

Vilniaus prekyba is the largest Lithuanian-owned business group and one of the leading retail groups in the Baltics and Central Europe. Through its subsidiaries – including Maxima grupė, Euroapotheca, Akropolis Group, Ermi Group, NDX Group, Dvylika, and CCF Kavinės – it operates retail and pharmacy chains, shopping centers, and foodservice businesses in the Baltic countries, Poland, Bulgaria, and Sweden.
