About
Heiti Talvik is an Assistant Lawyer at COBALT Estonia. He assists senior associates in their everyday work, specialising in banking and financial law and M&A. Before joining COBALT, Heiti completed internships at another leading law firm and the Supreme Court of Estonia.
One of Heiti’s hobbies is participating in moot court competitions. His most notable achievement was at the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, where the University of Tartu law students made history by becoming the first team from Estonia and the Baltic States to reach the competition’s elimination rounds. The University of Tartu’s team ranked among the world’s top 32 out of nearly 400 participating universities.
Heiti is also an active member of the Estonian Law Students’ Union, where he has organised numerous events and previously served as Head of International Cooperation. At the same time, he is dedicated to furthering his academic and professional development. In 2024, he attended a summer school in Uppsala focusing on international arbitration, followed by a summer school in Frankfurt in 2025 specialising in financial and banking law.
