Apie
Taaniel Sivonen is an Associate at COBALT Estonia who specialises in resolving disputes and representing clients in administrative and civil proceedings. His practice includes representing clients in dealings with administrative authorities and resolving regulatory disputes in and out of court. Taaniel has extensive prior experience in handling complex tax disputes, which has provided him with a strong background in public law and administrative procedures. In addition, he represents clients in civil proceedings in matters of contract and tort law, both in extrajudicial negotiations and in litigation.
Taaniel has been a member of the Estonian Bar Association since 2023. He has demonstrated his advocacy skills on an international level, reaching the finals of the prestigious European Law Moot Court competition, marking a first for Estonia. Alongside his work at COBALT, Taaniel has also lectured at the University of Tartu.
