Senior Associate Heleri Tammiste Elected Vice President of the Harvard Law School Association of Europe
2025 - 06 - 11
We are proud to announce that Heleri Tammiste, Senior Associate at COBALT, has been elected Vice President of the Harvard Law School Association of Europe (HLSAE), after three years of service as Secretary and Board Member. Heleri is the first Estonian to serve on the team of Vice Presidents in the Association’s 60-year history and the only Estonian ever to have served on the HLSAE Board.
Founded in 1965, the Harvard Law School Association of Europe brings together alumni of Harvard Law School residing in Europe or having an interest in the region. The purpose of HLSAE is to advance the cause of legal education, and to promote the interests and increase the usefulness of the Harvard Law School, to further the organization of local or regional associations in Europe, and to promote mutual acquaintance and good fellowship among all members of the Association. As a long-standing tradition, the members of HLSAE gather once a year for a four-day Reunion, held each time in a different European city and featuring discussions led by Harvard faculty, regional legal experts, and policymakers.
This year’s HLSAE Reunion, held from 29 May to 1 June 2025 in Vilnius, Lithuania, marked the first time in HLSAE history that the annual event was held in the Baltics. The Reunion brought together more than 120 Harvard Law School alumni and guests from across Europe, the United States, and beyond. COBALT proudly supported the 2025 HLSAE Reunion as an official sponsor (see COBALT’s announcement on LinkedIn).
Heleri has been an active member of HLSAE since 2011, after graduating from Harvard Law School in 2009.
