Aurimas Banys has 18 years of legal experience gained while working at leading Lithuanian law firms and the Lithuanian Administrative Disputes Commission. The main areas of his practice include public procurement, the regulation and administration of EU funds and national support, as well as dispute resolution. In these fields, he has accumulated exceptional expertise, having examined various aspects of these areas of law from both the perspective of a dispute resolver and that of the parties involved in disputes.
He also has academic experience — at Mykolas Romeris University, he taught courses on mediation in business disputes and mediation in administrative proceedings. In addition, he is a regular lecturer at seminars on public procurement, EU funds and national support, and dispute resolution. He is a co-author of the first mediation handbook published in Lithuania.
