Baltic M&A Outlook 2023
Date: 2023 - 02 - 21
Time: 09:00 - 12:00
Location: Grand Hotel Kempinski Vilnius, Universiteto st.14, Vilnius
The event is subtitled as “The end of the golden M&A stage”. Macroeconomic tensions such as soaring inflation and a predicted recession, as well as geopolitical risks, negatively affect the deals market. In bothglobal and European markets, there were about 30% fewer transactions during the first half of 2022. The participants of the event, including Tomas Kairys, Head of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in Lithuania, and others, will share their insights on whether the market has returned to pre-pandemic times after the record year of 2021. Lithuania is not an exception, and it is affected by general trends, or maybe vice versa?
During the event, we will also take a detailed look at mergers and acquisitions in Lithuania during recent years, focusing mainly on M&A transactions in the energy sector. We will also discuss about the attitude of investors towards our region.
