RINA Acquires Foreship

COBALT Law Firm advised RINA, a global engineering consultancy, inspection, and certification group, in its acquisition of Foreship group, a renowned company specialising in naval architecture and marine engineering, from Vaaka Partners and other shareholders.

Headquartered in Helsinki, Foreship employs over 90 experts across eight offices worldwide, including locations in Estonia, the United States and the United Kingdom. The company is widely recognized for its prominent work in cruise ship design, energy-efficient vessel innovations, and sustainable marine technologies. Foreship serves a global client base, featuring major cruise lines and shipping companies, and holds extensive expertise in naval architecture.

RINA is a leading certification and engineering firm offering a broad array of services across sectors such as energy, marine, infrastructure & mobility, certification, industry, and real estate.
