We are pleased to announce that our Partner and Co-Chair of the Mergers & Acquisitions practice group, Kristel Raidla-Talur, has been appointed to the management board of the Estonian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (EstVCA).
EstVCA members have elected a new 11-member board to steer the association for the next two years, until October 2027. Hendrik Reimand, Founding Partner at the venture capital fund 2C Ventures, has been elected as the new Chairman of the Board.

The board members are Dag Ainsoo (Startup Wise Guys), Ene Õunmaa (Swedbank Investment Funds), Hendrik Reimand (2C Ventures), Kärt Siilats (Superangel), Kristel Raidla-Talur (COBALT Legal), Maarja Pärs (Livonia Partners), Mari Kuhi (SmartCap), Margus Uudam (Karma Ventures), Mart Maasik (Nordic Science Investments), Rando Rannus (Siena Secondary Fund) and Sigrid Lii Treialt (LHV Asset Management).
Kristel noted: “It is a privilege to return to the EstVCA management board. I look forward to working with the community to promote a strong, transparent and internationally attractive environment for venture capital and private equity. My focus will be on helping Estonia remain a place where start-ups can thrive and where funds feel confident to establish and grow.”
Kristel has long-term experience in venture capital, having advised funds on investments in start-ups across the world, in addition to her work on fund formation, M&A and other transactions. Kristel has also been an active contributor to the local ecosystem by serving on the EstVCA management board several times and supporting other organisations and initiatives in the startup and venture capital industry.
EstVCA is the representative body for private equity and venture capital industry participants and associated service providers in Estonia. Since its establishment in 2009, the organisation has focused on strengthening and developing the local ecosystem, fostering international connections and providing its members and key stakeholders with industry insights, research and training.
