During HR Week 2026, COBALT was proud to once again support the Latvian HR Management Association (LPVA) Annual Project Award, celebrating outstanding achievements and best practices in human resource management across Latvia.
This year, Scandic Fusion received the COBALT Prize in the Wellbeing category for its “Wellbeing Ecosystem – Employee Movement Initiative”, a long-term project aimed at strengthening employees’ physical and mental wellbeing, fostering a sense of community and encouraging communication across the company.
Movement and regular physical activity have become a firmly established value within the company. The wellbeing ecosystem includes annual hikes, walking and running challenges, a summer sports challenge, as well as year-round support for employees’ mental and physical health. At the same time, the company actively supports sports initiatives led by employees and designs activities suitable for different levels of physical fitness.
An important part of the project is the use of in-house technological solutions. For example, as part of the walking challenge, Scandic Fusion’s business analysts develop dedicated applications and interactive dashboards that allow employees to track progress and add gamification elements to the experience. As a result, the wellbeing ecosystem is not simply a calendar of activities, but an employee-driven environment where movement, technology, healthy competition and a sense of community come together.
COBALT applauds all applicants for their commitment to advancing employee wellbeing and congratulates the winners in the other award categories.
