COBALT represents Balin Energy in tendering procedure

The Ministry of Economy has announced that Balin Energy, SIA are the winners of the latest licensing competition for the rights of exploration and production of hydrocarbons in the Latvian exclusive economic zone. Balin Energy is jointly owned by the Kuwait Energy Company group which has extensive exploration and production experience throughout the world and especially the Middle East, and by the PKN Orlen group which is one of Central Europe’s largest refiners of crude oil. The new licence area is located to the west of Liepaja.
