Kristīne Patmalniece is Head of the Regulatory and Commercial Law practice group at COBALT Latvia.

She advises clients on complex regulatory and commercial matters, particularly where sector-specific requirements, consumer-facing operations and evolving business models intersect. Her practice covers consumer protection, product compliance and liability, advertising and marketing, e-commerce, food and other regulated products, life sciences and general commercial agreements. Kristīne assists clients with product and business model reviews, market entry, regulatory proceedings, compliance frameworks and cross-border projects.

Kristīne also has extensive experience in complex and novel employment law matters, including workforce reorganisations, pay transparency and equal treatment, platform work, AI and automated decision-making in the workplace, internal investigations and senior employee matters. She represents employers in employment disputes and other civil litigation.
