COBALT successfully represented a client in a complex dispute about the division of assets

A client sought a divorce after a long-term marriage during which the spouses had accumulated substantial assets. These assets included real estate in Estonia and abroad, cryptocurrency, shareholdings in various companies, and animals.

The spouses held significant differences of opinion regarding the division of the assets, including their valuation.  Additionally, various tax considerations had to be addressed. Following complex negotiations, which included company valuations, an out-of-court settlement satisfactory to both spouses was reached.
