COBALT is pleased to announce that Dr. Toms Krūmiņš, Head of Arbitration at COBALT Latvia, has been designated by the Government of Latvia to the ICSID Panels of Arbitrators and Conciliators.
Toms’ designation to the ICSID Panels of Arbitrators and Conciliators is a clear testament to his recognized expertise in international arbitration. His inclusion in the Panels will take effect following notification by the Latvian Minister of Finance to the ICSID Secretariat.

International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) is the world’s leading institution devoted to international investment dispute settlement between States and foreign investors. Latvia acceded to the ICSID Convention on 8 August 1997, and it formally entered into force with respect to Latvia on 7 September 1997.
