Kristīne is a highly experienced lawyer specialising in European Union law, competition law and state aid. Her expertise also extends to advising on the complexities of aviation asset financing and helping clients navigate the intricate demands of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliance.
She has extensive experience across a number of key sectors, including infrastructure, transport (aviation and rail), energy, media, finance etc. She is also adept at navigating government relations and public affairs, providing strategic advice on complex matters.
Kristīne is also well-versed in sustainability (ESG), helping companies understand the legal impacts, risks, and opportunities related to these issues.
Kristīne holds a master’s degree from the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium, where she specialised in EU law. She’s a visiting lecturer on EU Law at the Riga Graduate School of Law.
