This issue of the Baltic Competition Law Insight covers news regarding current hot topics in competition law in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. For both Latvia and Estonia this means the implementation of the so-called ECN Directive (Directive 2019/1 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 December 2018) which significantly enhances the powers of national competition authorities. In Lithuania the ECN Directive was already implemented in November 2020. Thus, commentary on Lithuanian competition authority’s enforcement priorities for 2022 is presented.
