We are happy to announce that our Partner and banking and finance practice group co-head Kristel Raidla-Talur was appointed to the Estonian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (EstVCA) management board.
Kristel adds: „I have participated in the work of EstVCA management board before and I am looking forward to the opportunity to have a say in the field of private equity and venture capital again. I intend to support the local start-up ecosystem and make sure that the Estonian legal environment would be attractive enough to establish and grow start-ups and form funds here.“
Kristel has long-term experience in the field of venture capital. She has advised funds on investments in start-ups established in Estonia, Europe, and the USA. In addition, Kristel advises clients on fund formation and financial regulatory matters.
EstVCA is the representative body of private equity and venture capital industry players and related support services provider in Estonia. Since its founding in the 2009 year, its main focus has been strengthening and developing the local ecosystem, international relations, and providing industry knowledge, research, and training to all of its members, associate members, and other key stakeholders.
