COBALT is recognized as the leading law firm in the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region for the number of deals advised on during the first half of 2024, according to the mergers and acquisitions (M&A) rankings released by Mergermarket.
Our M&A team advised on a total of 24 ranked deals worth more than USD 72 million across Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, achieving the highest number of deals within the CEE region.
In the first six half of 2024, some of our most significant deals are included in the rankings:

- 1242 Apps acquires shares in technology start-up Chili Labs
- Wood pellets manufacturer UAB Granulita becomes part of GreenGroup
- Latvian Arbo Windows acquires Lithuanian Arlanga Wood
