Private investor and entrepreneur Tadas Burgaila has become the largest shareholder of Vilnius football club Žalgiris.
The deal, in which the investor acquired shares in the club, marks a new stage for Vilnius football club Žalgiris and will bring important and necessary changes. According to Tadas Burgaila, the most important thing for these changes is to increase public interest, spectator numbers, and other key indicators.
Žalgiris Football Club was founded in 1947 and is a Lithuanian football team from Vilnius, competing in the highest Lithuanian football division, the A League. Žalgiris Football Club has won the LFF Cup 14 times and the LFF Super Cup 9 times.
In the transaction Tadas Burgaila was consulted by the COBALT team led by Partner Rokas Daugėla, and Associate Aurimas Drumstas.
