Elo Tamm is a Partner at COBALT Estonia, head of EU and Competition practice group, and also leading the Energy and Healthcare industry practices. Elo is a highly recognised specialist of competition law and regulated industries, with particular focus on energy, healthcare and waste sectors. Elo has over 20 years of experience in advising both local and international clients on cartels, abuse of dominance, mergers and state aid. She regularly appears in courts in Estonia as well as EU. She regularly speaks on competition and regulation in Estonia and outside. Elo has complemented her education in Estonian law with EU and international business law and studies in economics. This enables her to comprehend both the legal and economic aspects of the client’s business and work across practice areas and countries.
Elo is a member of the Estonian Bar Association since 1999. She is a member of the Competition Law Committee of the Estonian Bar Association and Chairwoman of the Healthcare Committee of American Chamber of Commerce in Estonia.
