Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company acquired Finnish Company Brown-Forman Finland

COBALT successfully represented CC Beverages Holdings II B.V. in a concentration case regarding the acquisition of Brown-Forman Finland.

The Competition Council allowed the Dutch company CC Beverages Holdings II B.V. to acquire 100 percent of the Finnish company Brown-Forman Finland shares and take full control of it.

CC Beverages Holdings II B.V. is a subsidiary of Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company (CCHBC). CCHBC is an authorised beverage bottler of The Coca-Cola Company, producing and selling Coca-Cola branded and other beverages in 29 countries in Europe, Eurasia, and Africa. CCHBC also bottles and distributes a wide range of beverages, including carbonated soft drinks, water, energy and sports drinks, juices and spirits, coffee, instant tea and plant-based drinks and snacks.

The company Brown-Forman Finland is engaged in the production and supply of Finlandia branded vodkas to wholesale distributors in Lithuania.

COBALT represented CCHBC, the bottler and independent distributor of Coca Cola branded beverages, in this merger. With this acquisition, CCHBC takes an important step in expanding its range of spirits. The project team consisted of COBALT Partner Rasa Zaščiurinskaitė and Senior Associate Justinas Šileika.
