E energija finished the sale of an onshore wind project with a capacity of up to 300 MW

COBALT successfully represented JSC E energija, which completed the sale of the largest wind farm of the E energija Group to JSC Ignitis Renewables, which belongs to Ignitis Group, one of the largest energy companies in the Baltic States.

It is planned that the power of the wind park will reach up to 300 MW. The portfolio consists of 2 projects: Kelmė VP I (105.4 MW) and Kelmė VP II (194.6 MW). The start of the commercial activity of the project is expected in 2025. The implemented project will operate under market conditions.

Investments, including the purchase price and construction costs, should amount to about EUR 550 million.

“E energija Group” develops and builds wind, solar and hybrid parks in Lithuania and neighbouring countries. In recent years, the 69 MW and 9 MW wind power parks developed and built by E energija in the Telšiai and Kelmė districts are already producing green electricity, and by 2030, E energija plans to develop up to 2000 MW of renewable energy projects in the region.
