VOSKER, a Canadian technology company specialising in advanced surveillance solutions, has acquired 100% of the shares in Defendec Holding, an Estonian developer of physical visual verification and perimeter security devices.

The acquisition marks a strategic expansion of VOSKER’s technological capabilities and international footprint, combining VOSKER’s global surveillance expertise with Defendec’s advanced security solutions used in critical infrastructure and remote monitoring.

Defendec is a developer of advanced wireless surveillance and intrusion detection systems used for securing remote and critical environment. The Defendec system is used for securing NATO’s and European Union’s external borders – helping to stop international smuggling, illegal trafficking and border crossing and other acts of sabotage.

VOSKER is a Canada-based technology company specializing in cellular-enabled security cameras designed for remote and off-grid locations. Its solutions provide reliable, real-time monitoring for applications such as property protection, job sites, agriculture, and outdoor surveillance without the need for Wi-Fi or wired power.

The transaction also reflects growing international interest in Estonia’s technology sector beyond the traditional European investment landscape. The involvement of Canadian financiers and international insurers underscores Estonia’s rising profile as a competitive and attractive hub for global tech investment.
