COBALT advises our long-term client AS RAGN-SELLS on legal matters pertaining to the OSA project.
AS RAGN-SELLS entered into a co-operation agreement with Eesti Energia, to research the possibilities to valorise and recycle the oil shale ash that has so far been deposited. According to the agreement, it is planned to start the industrial-scale testing within the next year and a half. The research conducted by RAGN-SELLS so far has shown that oil shale ash could be used as a raw material for other industries and it could be recycled more. The new technology would help to reduce the ecological footprint of the Estonian energy industry and it would also provide raw materials for other industries.
