The acquisition of InMedica by Mehiläinen was named the Baltic Deal of the Year

On 22 April, the Baltic Deal of the Year winners were announced at the Baltic M&A and Private Equity Forum.
The deal in which the COBALT Lithuania team advised Mehiläinen, a Finnish private healthcare provider, on its acquisition of InMedica was named a Baltic M&A Deal of the Year!
In Q1 2025, Mehiläinen — which serves over 2 million customers annually — acquired InMedica in one of the largest healthcare investments in the Baltics. Mehiläinen is a leading provider of social and healthcare services, operating across 840 locations in Finland, Germany, Sweden, and Estonia. It was noted that InMedica Group’s service standards align with Mehiläinen’s values, supporting the company’s continued growth and commitment to high-quality care.
The winning transactions were selected by an independent pan-Baltic panel of experts and market professionals. Other this year’s winners included Lithuanian companies Vinted and Invalda, and Estonian company Elenger, part of the Infortar group.
